Lopressor is a cardioselective beta-blocker. Lopressor improves heart function and is used in:
- Mono or combined therapy of hypertension
- Long-term management of tachycardia and stenocardia of different functional classes

- Reducing the frequency of headaches in people prone to migraine
For the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, patient should first take Lopressor 100mg once a day, or 50 mg every 12 hours. The dosage may be increased to a maximum of Lopressor 450mg per day, if there is no therapeutic response, or if it is low. The dosing regimen should not be changed more than once in 7 days.
Missed Dose
If you remember that you have missed a dose of Lopressor, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for taking the next recommended dose of Lopressor, it must be used without doubling.
